The County of Sonoma Fire and Emergency services recommends that because they may be unable to reach all citizens quickly in the aftermath of an emergency, that individuals and neighborhoods be prepared to be on their own for a minimum of 3 to 5 days.
That could mean being without access to water, food, electricity, or medical help for days. It’s important to be sure that you and your family have what is needed to survive and have the peace of mind that if something tragic does occur, that you have taken the necessary steps to be prepared.
